DENVER -- Grandview High School upset third-seeded Highlands Ranch High School 57-52 in the elite 8 round of the class 6A girls state basketball tournament March 4 at the Denver Coliseum. No stats were available for either team.
The win sends the Wolves (17-9) into a final four contest against Cherry Creek at 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, at the Coliseum. The loss ended the Falcons' season. HRHS posted a mark of 22-4.
