DENVER -- Mountain Vista High School's boys basketball team advanced to the semifinals of the state 6A boys basketball tournament by beating Valor Christian 75-66 at the Denver Coliseum March 4.
No stats were available for either team. The win sends the Golden Eagles (24-2) into a final four contest against Denver East High School at 4 p.m. Friday, March 10. The loss ended Valior Christian's season. The Eagles had a record of 18-8.
