Man sought in connection to child sex assault

Authorities ask for public assistance


Douglas County law enforcement are looking for a Boulder man in relation to alleged sexual assault of a child. 

On June 30, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office released information that Andrew Rosa, 34, of Boulder allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old, who Rosa contacted through social media. Rosa was last seen in Moab, Utah on May 29. 

Rosa is described as being around 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He drives a dark blue Jeep  Compass with the Colorado plate CRY-328. 

The  sheriff's office believes Rosa may have contacted other underage victims using various social media profiles, including Snapchat. 

The sheriff's office is asking anyone  with  information on Rosa, as well as  other potential victims to contact Detective Adam Cummings at 303-814-7631.
