Arapahoe High School moved into the elite 8 round of the state 6A girls basketball tournament by beating league rival ThunderRidge 38-29 in Littleton Feb. 25.
The win sends the Warriors (19-6) into a game against top-seeded Valor Christian Saturday, March 4, at the Denver Coliseum. Tip time had not been set as of early afternoon Feb. 25. The loss put an end to the Grizzlies' season. They finished with a record of 19-6.
